The @BBCRadio2 are playing ‘This could be the last time’ currently

I certainly hope not.

I’ve been to the supermarket for the first time in over a week and I have two observations

  1. they seem a bit short on Buy One Get One Free offers and

  2. it’s difficult to panic buy stuff when you’re walking home

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day to all who are celebrating, or trying to celebrate!

Clearly everything’s grim for everyone….but I finished self-isolating last night so I can’t help feeling quite chipper

Winds, floods, pestilence…..and now I find myself agreeing with @piersmorgan

Piers Morgan@piersmorgan Do pubs, bars, restaurants, cafes, theatres, cinemas close or not?Ridiculous of @BorisJohnson to just ‘suggest’ it & not ban it.Not least because these businesses will be forced to close but can’t claim on insurance if they’re not ordered to.

This must be clarified - urgently

Many more, about a thousand, lost their lives as a result of the decision to evacuate: casualties of car crashes, heart attacks …

Boy George, I think, had a record label called ‘More Protein’

I always assumed/hoped that was a reference to Stanley’s sign

This was his sign

As per the pic, James talks to Stanley Green, the guy who had the ‘Less Protein, Less Passion’ sign who seems to have been a kindly, gentle chap….albeit vaguely reminiscent of Jacob Rees-Mogg
