One day……I will develop the tranquillity and calmness of mind to scroll past a Twitter poll without feeling the need to vote

That day has not yet come.

#TodayILearned where the phrase “That’s all she wrote” comes from. Possibly.

Most, if not all, the Tottenham fans I’ve known have had an air of resignation about them when they talk about football.

The rage and frustration you get from Jermaine Jenas is lovely thing to hear.

As a Chelsea fan, anyway

My word of the day today is ‘burst’.

When push comes to shove, as it often did back in those days, this is probably my favourite punk rock record

I’ve only been to 5 of these, but they are all marvellous

My word of the day today is ‘glee’.

Lucky to not concede two penalties

Oblak should have done better for first goal

Soft sending off

….but, for all that a convincing result and a convincing performance

#CHEATM

The Kante twins are on top form #CHEATM

I had to look this up.

Move-Item : Source and destination path must have identical roots. Move will not work across volumes.

….I have no idea how I’ve avoided learning this before now, tbh

#TodayILearned (or possibly re-learned…it rings a vague bell) that Ed Sheeran did work experience with @NizlopiOfficial

Bloke I was at school with on the radio talking about ‘middle age and beyond’

What’s he on about?

I’ve been slightly ache-y and had a slightly sore throat, otherwise no ill-effects.

Since you ask

My word of the day today is ‘fizzle’.

There’s a mural commemorating all the UFO stuff BBC News - ‘Warminster Thing’ marked in 50th anniversary UFO mural www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-e…

It puts me in mind of the, much more spectacular, oddly-shaped hill, in Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind

I go past this oddly shaped hill quite often.

It’s near Warminster, which was a centre of a UFO mania in the 1950s.

My word of the day today was ‘curdle’.
