One of the things about CD compared to vinyl was that a lot of songs suddenly became easily available in good sound
I spent a bit of time finding compilations which had a good number of songs I wanted but didn’t have….hence the one with the couple walking off into the sunset
I grew up in the time of vinyl, and when I first got a CD player, CDs were very pricey.
